Aynsley has birthday #7

Thats right - Aynsley is offically 7!! All of her freinds have turned 7 and she was feeling left out, now she joins them. Her birthday turned into a WEEKEND event. Saturday we got up and had her favorite breakfast, french toast, hasbrowns, and bacon. You must remember the sugar on your french toast too!! Then we headed in to SLC with her good freind Payton and went to see a movie. We wanted to see Kung Fu Panda, the paper even said it was playing at the theater we went to, but we got there and it was not. I ended up going with the girls to see, Fly Me to the Moon. A 3D movie. Leo and Ryan went and saw Batman. Once we came out of the movie we took Aynsley to Build a Bear and let her build her 1st bear! She had a blast - Ryan of course could not be left out he built the chimp that you see in the Broncos uniform. We then went to dinner at Johnny Carinos - once again Aynsley's choice. Sunday was the BIG Family dinner - BBQ, corn on the cob, baked beans, pasta salad, the whole sha-bang!! She then opened her gifts and blew out the candles on the cake. My how she is growing up fast!! I cant believe that just a short 7 years ago she came into this world. It amazes me how smart she is and how much I learn from her. I could not have asked for a better daughter. I still cant believe that she would choose me as her mother. Heavenly Father must have a big plan for me!!

Weekend in Park City

We just got home from a weekend get-a-way in Park City. Since I changed jobs I didnt get to take time off with Leo during his week off, so we planned just a little weekend get-a-way. We left on Friday night and went up to a condo in Deer Valley. It was a nice little condo and we got it for a pretty decent price. We were the only ones in our little building, it was nice!
On Saturday we got up and went to Chicks in Heber City and had breakfast. Leo loves the chicken fried steak there and said that since he has to work the whole time that we will be at Swiss Days that he wanted to go then. Here he is eating breakfast -
After breakfast we went over to the Olympic Park - WOW - that was cool! We did the Zip Line and the Alpine Slide thing. The 2 best parts however were, getting to watch the training of the freestyle going on and the Flying Aces show, this is where the althetes train into the pool, by doing the cool jumps. Holy Cow talk about awesome! Here is an ariel picture that I took - it was cool!! Then we took the tour that takes you up to the top of the 120 down hill ski jump. WOW what a sight! The skiers are crazy that do it, but in a way, being up there make you want to try it just once! We also got to go to the starting lines of the Luge and Bobsled tracks. It is very interesting to see it up close and personal.
We then went shopping that afternoon, finished getting school clothes shopping done - I am proud to say, I am now done. Mom and Nan took Aynsley the other day and I finished Ryan at the outlet mall. I cant believe that school starts in just a week and a half! AAHHH -
Well more to follow I am sure - feel free to comment back!!

Everybody is blogging!!

OK - so Leo thinks that I am wierd! Until we went to Park City for the weekend. We are sitting in Chick's in Heber City having breakfast and this group of younger ladies asks me to take a picture of them at their table - I gladly do so, and then all 4 of them at the same time say " I can't wait to get home and blog this, it is going to be great!" Then while on Main St, Park City, we walk by a lady and her freind taking a picture in front of the Clohe Jeans (all the celeb's were them) and she says - "OOH I cant wait to blog this picture". Needless to say I was laughing my head off and had to explain that it is basicly - electronic scrapbooking!!

Welcome to the year 3000!

Well, my sister told me to start this blog and it keeps everyone in touch. Not that anyone will stay in touch or care about what we are doing - I think that this might be fun, just maybe my brother in FL might join in!
Life is a little hectic now with football starting, dance classes starting, and of course school just around the corner on the 21st. Ryan is full swing into football, his first game will be the 23rd, then every Saturday till the end of October. Aynsley starts her dance/cheer class on Friday. She is so excited!!
Mom and Dad are just hanging out. Running kids to and fro - what the life!
Well more will come - I am going to have to get fancy like my sister and do pic's too - Join in my dear brother!!
