Did you know that trees jump out and get you!!

While on my way home yesterday from work, just as I was turning off of SR36 in Stansbury to come home, my cell phone rings, it was a 435-884 number (a gville number). It was 3:30 and I thought who is this?? I answer and it was Carol at Grantsville Elementry. She says to me "Krysten we have Ryan here in the office and he ran into a tree and cut himself pretty good and he is going to need some stiches." I then ask her where is he hurt, she tells me his head, right above his right eye. - Now school gets out at 3:30 - Apparently, while running to get to the bus, this tree on the front lawn of the school, jumps out of no where and attacked Ryan. Wacked him real good just one time!
Ryan tells a different story, while running to the bus stop, his freind Brayden says Hi Ryan, he says Hi back and looks at something Brayden was doing, and the next thing he knows he ran into the tree. He then stops and his other freind AJ says to him "dude your bleeding" Ryan asked him "is it just a stratch?" and then AJ says "NO it is a Gash". AJ then helps Ryan to the office. And then they call me.

I go straight to the school and by the time I got there, the principle Mr. Wyatt had butterflyed it up and they had ice on it. We get Ryan loaded up in the car, run home and get Leo, who cant drive because he had LASIK done just 24 hours before, and go up to the hospital for stiches. We were at the hospital about 2 hours, the Tooele hospital is sooo slow, only one Dr. on staff on a Friday afternoon. We get back home about 6:30, go get Aynsley from Gramma's house. Thank goodness gramma live so close, and could watch her after dance for us!
Here are some pictures - I took them with my cell phone so the quality is not the best - we have a nice shiner and tree marks - but we are OK, the tree well, it is basking in it glory today! Having won the battle with Ryan!

So we all slept in the morning, Mom cleaned up the house, and the well Ryan cant just stop playing sports - I just caught him outside playing basketball in the driveway. Here are some pics of him And then there is Aynsley - here she is on her bed - there was a Bee outside! - she would not come out - she is such a freek when it comes to insects outside - she sees one - she is inside and will not come out for the longest time -

Where has the month of Oct. gone???

Well the month of Oct seemed to just fly right on by, and before I knew it Halloween was here! Here are the kids last night getting ready to "trick or treat". Yes, Ryan talked his mother into letting him be a Sumo guy, and Aynsley kept saying that she wanted to be a China Girl. Luckily, I found one at one of the Halloween stores and it was perfect, exactly what she wanted. Ryan is old enough now to go on his own with his freinds. (thank goodness we live in an area and town that he can). So Aynsley and I took of an hit the house for the good stuff!! We hit all our normal houses, family freinds, freinds in the ward and neighboorhood.
Football is now winding down, regular season is over - we ended up 3-5 - better than last year!! We are now in a "bowl", in West Jordan. We won our first game over Bountiful today 34-0. One more game to go next week, then we have a couple of months off before Jr. Jazz will start in Janurary. Cheer and Dance are still going strong for Aynsley, she loves it!! Performances will be soon and I will post them!!
