My Little Gift to My Mom

My totally wonderful and awesome Mum (insert english accent here)  had a birthday a couple weeks ago.
I made her a little gift.
She is into to DIY and she has always wanted her own tool box.

So I wanted to do a little some-thin some-thin for her birthday.
I looked on line for Pink tool boxes. They were ALL - WAY WAY out of my price range!
But then PINK is not my Moms favorite color.
LIME GREEN IS!!

SOOO - I said to myself. "Self, just paint one!"

Then the wheels started churn'in.
So here is what I did...
I head over to my local Home Depot. And bought a standard, black plastic TOOL BOX.
I taped off the handle and other thingy's that I wanted to leave black or gray.
And I plastic primed away....

Plastic Primer is a MUST! The regular paint wont stick if you don't prime it. (not that I know from experience or anything) 
After the Primer was done drying, I sprayed it LIME GREEN - Mummy's Favorite Color!!
Let is dry for a good 27 hours. (I counted, don't judge)

And here is the final result. (sorry for the cell phone photo, was in a hurry to get to give it to Mummsie and didn't grab my camera)

I added the vinyl, that I just made real quick with my Sillouette!

I think it turned out AMAZING! And the best part was that good ole' Mummsie loved it!! (I think)

What I Love Wednesday

Several of the blogs that I stalk read do a Wordless Wednesday or a What I wore Wednesday and then there is the, What I love Wednesday.
Well - I wear the same things over and over - I am not a fashion person at all!! Jeans and a T-shirt or Hoodie, sometime track pants instead of jeans.
I wont show you what I wear, for one I am not a "foo-foo" kind of person that will wear vests and scarves...
What you see is what you get. I am kind of boring!! And I don't have 50 bazillion dollars to get a whole new wardrobe. So none of that what I wore biz here.

SO I am opting today to do What I love Wednesday...

I love my CROCKPOT... I love that I can make awesome and amazing dinners in that little slow cooker contraption!!

I love PINTEREST!! I could spend days hours on this wonderful invention! Follow me here is you would like too...

I love that I am in the middle of a major house remodel. If you count painting a new color (getting rid of my browns), putting up board and batten, wood floors upstairs in the hall and office, and doing a back splash in my kitchen.
And THEE best part of my major remodel - I have bought all the supplies (minus the new stair treads) and I am only at 600 dan-er-oes!!  Follow my transformations over on the DIY blog that I share with my Mother!!

No Resolutions here - JUST GOALS

I don't like the word "resolution".
I did not make any resolutions this year.
I made some goals. I thought I would write them down. Post them here, then I have to do them. Right?

Some are ambitious I know. But they can all be accomplished!!
