The Biggest and Best Waterfight EVER!

Well the 4th of July weekend is coming to a close. For the first time in a long time, I had a 3 day weekend. Friday, we went up to the pool spent the day up there. My Mom, my sister and my dear friend Monica. It was nice and relaxing. We just hung out and deepened our tans.
Then on the 4th we got up and got ready for the Grantsville parade. I love this parade!! It reminds me of the old Magna days, maybe even a little bit better. In the Grantsville parade, everyone who knows each other squirts each other with water, whether it be water guns, water balloons, or the hose from the fire truck! This year, I found these cool little foam water cannons at Wallie World for cheep! So we loaded up the cooler with just water and got ready. We shot at a couple of people we knew.....Then came my all-star boys...(since I am the league sec. I can call them that). Well my Dad had forewarned us that Craig, the minor coach, and my Dads coworker, would be driving. As soon as we saw him, my Dad told Ryan to go and get him.....right thru the window - we got him!! Then it was war on the boys..we got them!! This year they didn't have the firetruck with the hose on it.. kinda sad.
Then we were off to the park and the car show. Spent the MUGGY afternoon over there and of course got sunburned.
We hosted the BBQ this year as my Mom and sister claim that their BBQ's are on the fritz. Little did we know how much fun we were going to have. MY neighbors across the street - the Millers - were having their family BBQ. (Monica and I are good friends and Bob and Kay - her mom and dad in law live across the street from me) It all started innocently with the kids messing around with the cheep water cannons that I bought. THEN - the all out Miller vs. Taylor - WATERFIGHT began!! We were squirting hoses across the street, throwing buckets of water on each other, laughing and screaming, wrestling for the hoses. It was an all out war!
All in all there were about 25 people running around wet and soaked! It was SOOO much fun - almost 3 hours we went at it! And we even got BOB!! hahahaa!
This had to have been one of the best 4th of Julys that I have had!! the night concluded with an awesome fireworks show down at the park.
I love this Nation, I love my family, I love the Millers, watch out Jay - I will find a way to get you back!! All my aches and pains today were so worth the fun that we had yesterday!!
