Dance Dance Dance

This past Friday night, Aynsley had her first performance with her new dance class. They had a mini performance for Christmas. This is the "off" year for performing at the school, it was just held at her studio.

Now if you remember from previous posts, Aynsley is taking dance from my old dance teacher. I took dance from Shellie from the time that I was (I think) 4 to 16. You may not know this about me, and my body sure doesn't represent all my years of previous dancing now. BUT.... I love dance - I love to watch dancing, I love to dance!! Even though my body jiggles a bit more than it should, I still can dance. Dance is probably the only GIRLY thing that I do!!! And, I have to tell you - Leo laughs at me EVERY time I watch, Dancing with the Stars, or So You Think You Can Dance. I actually move my upper body with them. He tells me all I need to do is move my arms and I would mimic what they are doing.

So I have great pride and joy, that my daughter loves it as much as I do!! She is so into dance and cheer! LOVE IT!!
I can't wait for Spring when the dance studio has their HUGE spring concert! Oh how I remember those days!! Hair done to the max, stage make up! LOVE IT!! And now I get to do it with Aynsley, the way my Mom did it with me!!

IN and OUT!

It seems like I have liked In and Out Burgers forever!
But I haven't. It was just a short time ago, while Leo and I were dating, 14 years to be exact. That I was introduced to these FABULOUS burgers and fries. (For those of you that know - Leo grew up in So. Calif. so he has grown up on In and Out) - I will never forget, when we were eating them, I asked Leo for some fry sauce, and he said what is fry sauce??? After I explained, he then told me, that is just a Utah thing, In and Out does not have fry sauce, just ketchup. I still believe that with their FRESH CUT FRIES, fry sauce would be awesome on them. But I am not allowed to try... In and Out fries must only be ate with ketchup!!
So how excited are we that we FINALLY have In and Out in Salt Lake???? EXTREMELY!!

I first heard about this about a year ago when I learned that they had opened a distribution center in Las Vegas that they were going to expand into Eastern Arizona and into SLC, UT.

See - In and Out has a policy that everything is FRESH.. the burgers are NOT FROZEN, the fries are cut right from potato's there in the store and spun and then fried. To keep it fresh, any given restaurant must not be more than 500 miles (legal days drive time) from the distribution center. Hence - the reason for SLC!! They have a little distribution center down in Draper that the trucks from Vegas deliver to, then the little trucks deliver to the stores!Welcome In and Out to SLC UT!!! We love you!!
