Some of my Favorite Things

I have been thinking that I need to blog more but I never know what to write about. I am sure that everyone gets sick and tired of hearing - "we did this and we did that". So today I am going to try to do what a lot of the good bloggers do - and just write! As I was thinking about what to write about - the thought came to me to write about my favorite things -
I have a lot of favorite things - One of my new favorite things is my Pandora Bracelet!
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!I bought one for my Mom and Nan for Christmas and then Monica wanted one so it has been fun getting everyone involved and seeing what charms they have on their bracelet.
So far I have 7 on mine - with more to come, I am sure!! 3 of the charms are my favorite things - and 4 of them represent the kids - Aynsley is represented by a purse (she never leaves the house with out one) and by a Cheer Megaphone (since she is my little dancer/cheerleader). Ryan is represented by the 2 sports that he LOVES - Football and Baseball!

I have 3 charms now, that represent things I love - as for #1 charm most you know that I am in flip flops year round - but constantly from March 1 to Nov 1. I have more flip flops than regular shoes!! And BTW my favorite all time flip flops are a brand called Toe Goz... LOVE THEM!! Toe Goz does have some COOL College flip flops - When Ryan gets into High School I am going to order the Georgia "G" - So I can be cool at the football games (till it turns cold)....not for Georgia - but Grantsville!!

My #2 charm - DISNEY - Ahhh everyone loves Disney - Mikey, Buzz, Woody...what more can you ask for!! My charm is a cool Mickey silhouette.. LOVE IT!!

My #3 charm - Palm Trees/Beach - Once again anyone that know me, know that I LOVE WARM!! I have always said when I retire - I WILL be a SNOW BIRD!!! (notice I didn't say I am going to be.... it is a - I will thing) I LOVE the beach - love the warm!!
So those are my charms - I want more for sure!!!! I just have to be more patient and wait for more of my favorite things to come out in a charms!! Do you think they might come out with a Diet Dr. Pepper Charm???Or maybe a What-Cha-Ma-Call-It charm????Hey they just might!!

UUGGH I am the Mother of a Teenager!! (blek)

Friday I had the day off to take Ryan to get his braces! He looks awesome - He was so nervous and almost had a panic attack driving there!! (not really but he was stressed) He looks so dang cute in them!!
Saturday we then had Jr Jazz games and running around getting everything for Ryan's big birthday celebration on Sunday. It was a very busy day - and come to find out my hard drive crashed on the lap top, so its in for repair! (arrgg)
Sunday rolls around and it is the BIG Day - Ryan turns 13!! An official teenager!
YES that is right - I am now an official mother of a teenager!!! BLEK! :(
I guess I should be grateful my oldest is only 13 - Some of my friends have kids in college and a lot of them have kids graduating High School this year... it makes me look younger than I am to only have a 13 year old as my oldest... BUT....yuck!! I have a teenager!!

I am grateful that he is such a good kid. He makes good choices. He helps me a lot! He is fantastic with younger kids they all just love him so! I am grateful that I was allowed to be his mom!!

Happy Birthday Bud! LOVE YA to INFINITY AND BEYOND!!

Dance Dance Dance

This past Friday night, Aynsley had her first performance with her new dance class. They had a mini performance for Christmas. This is the "off" year for performing at the school, it was just held at her studio.

Now if you remember from previous posts, Aynsley is taking dance from my old dance teacher. I took dance from Shellie from the time that I was (I think) 4 to 16. You may not know this about me, and my body sure doesn't represent all my years of previous dancing now. BUT.... I love dance - I love to watch dancing, I love to dance!! Even though my body jiggles a bit more than it should, I still can dance. Dance is probably the only GIRLY thing that I do!!! And, I have to tell you - Leo laughs at me EVERY time I watch, Dancing with the Stars, or So You Think You Can Dance. I actually move my upper body with them. He tells me all I need to do is move my arms and I would mimic what they are doing.

So I have great pride and joy, that my daughter loves it as much as I do!! She is so into dance and cheer! LOVE IT!!
I can't wait for Spring when the dance studio has their HUGE spring concert! Oh how I remember those days!! Hair done to the max, stage make up! LOVE IT!! And now I get to do it with Aynsley, the way my Mom did it with me!!

Here is a video of her performance -
