Spring Update

Well last time I left off at the start of baseball season. 

We have had an extremely busy spring.. the month of May especially! Believe it or not we have only been home at night maybe 2 out of the 4 weeks.. between dance week and baseball tournaments, we haven't had that much time to breath. 

Well now it is over - and Ryan has started football workouts, I will give you an update..........

While we were in California, we went over to the Chip Foose shop for a shop tour. Leo was seriously in HOG HEAVEN!

Then there was the slide at the mine, Leo got 3 days off work paid. It was a HUGE slide - largest at any mine!

I kept score for Ryans team! This was a pic that I posted on Instagram - Can I just remind you that I LOVE BASEBALL! This pic pretty much sums up the last 2 weeks of baseball - the first part of the season was soo freekin cold!

Happy Happy Happy

Well it has been a long time since the old bloggity blog was updated. 

We left off during football season - HOLY GEEZE!   

So here is a quick update for my dear old brother and his family over in Germany! 

 (he does not believe in Facebook/Twitter or Instagram OR he would have already have seen the pictures below)

While in Phoenix over Thanksgiving, we went over and took a tour of the Arizona Cardinals Stadium. It was so cool! In the collage here you see how the stadium looks with out the turf, the turf stored outside, then the turf being rolled out for the game that was going to be held that Sunday.

This shot is of #77 walking the EXACT same path that the visiting team would walk out onto the field.

Tom and Capi came up for #77's Birthday.. One day they wanted to get out on the 4 wheelers and ride... It was just a little cold!

We had a big party for him - Did and Amazing Race party - it was a blast!  (the cute girl with brown hair in the greyish jacket... that is Madison - his girlfriend - She is adorable and cute too!

So we went up Saturday to Sundance - Capi and Staci really wanted to go. I was across the street and I heard the paparazzi yelling Mr. Winkler, Mr. Winkler -- So I snagged a picture... YUP that is the FONZ!

AND then this happened!!!!  #77/great white hunter is BACK in a BASEBALL uniform! In his first game he went 2-3 with a SWEET hit to right and an AMAZING hit to center. In the 2nd game he error hit to get on base. I was one proud MOM!

He is playing 1st because he is sooo dang tall!

2012 Homecoming

Well I just looked at the old bloggity blog and saw a comment from my sis-in-law. My brother in Germany really does read my blog!!!
Homecoming here in my small town was a couple of weeks ago. It was a great and busy week for us! Tom and Capi came up to watch Ryan play some football (they try to once a year during the season). It was fun having them here.
I loved Homecoming week - as a football Mom, you get to go help with traditions that this small town has and continues to do. Tuesday I helped with team dinner with some of the other moms. Wednesday was the candy poster night. Thursday we had to travel for JV - WE WON!  And Friday was the Homecoming game. They have a parade down Main St. up to the school, then everyone tailgates before the big game. The BBQ pulled pork is awesome!!
Ryan actually got to play in the Homecoming game! This year he is just a sophomore on the Varsity team, so he has only played a few plays on Beef Crew and a series of plays in the Homecoming game. He does however - START on the JV team!

We have been busy! But now that school is back in session it seems like things have slowed down a little - except on Thursdays and Friday - between Dance and Football - these kids keep me hoppin!!!
