My NEW Favorite Dinner Idea!!

I don't know if you have heard the radio commercials or not... from Macey's - the CROCK TALK!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these things!! Each Wednesday the wonderful people of Macey's come out with a new meal - and I must say they are delicious!! It is very simple to do and it is a killer deal!!
When you first walk into the store, you get your cart - then right there magically is a brown paper bag and all that you need for your meal!! Each week it varies from 14 bucks to 20 bucks. You simply put all the ingredients in the brown paper bag that they provide - everything in that bag is the said price of the week!!!
It is a HUGE savings!! The meat alone is normally the price of all the other stuff that you put in the bag! Now you don't have to do what they say - but HEY - you get all the ingredients for the week at the set cost!
This weeks meal - Crock Talk Chuck Roast - this week you get in the brown paper bag - a 4-5lb roast -Hidden Valley dry ranch packet - Dry Italian packet - Onion soup packet - 2 (yes that's right 2) mashed potato packets - A bag of salad - and a package of rolls from the bakery.

This week it was 18 bucks - if I would have bought it all separate and not in my brown bag it would have been about 30 bucks total.

Have I mentioned they are delicious!! You must try them! Here is a link to the old recipes that they have I highly recommend the Pork Barbacoa!! mmmmmmm nummy !!

YES - I fell getting OUT of my car at work - YES - it hurt like HELL (sorry for the swearing but it did!)

I have been hobbling around for a week now - It sure is taking a while to recover - could it be that I am just 6 months away from the dreaded birthday???
Getting OLD sucks rocks!

BTW - Dr. Beazer was really nice and sympathetic - If it still hurts after this week - I have to go back... I might have tore something - or hurt my meniscus. It was too swollen to tell last Monday......

Did I mention - Getting OLD sucks rocks! And oh yea - I AM A KLUTZ!!!

I am not one of "those" Moms

OK - today was a very very interesting day!! For several years I have been a "Football" Mom... and loved every minute of it!!I have always thought to myself, when I have been at games on Saturdays. How some "Football" Moms kind of/sort of...go a little over board. They get decked out in their sons old football jerseys, play intro music for the team, etc - I would just chuckle to myself and move along.

WELL today - I found out one thing - a FOOTBALL MOM - is NOTHING and I seriously mean NOTHING compared to a "CHEER MOM" -

Let me back up a little - Aynsley has been taking Cheer from an awesome cheer coach here in Gville - Kelly Clark... this year Kelly decided to take the littler group (Mini Stars) to competitions... Well we had our first one today! Leo, Ryan and my sister have been teasing us that we were going to "Bring It On"... I just brushed it off........ till Monica (my bff) and I walked in to Cottonwood High this morning....
OMH!!!! (oh my heck!!)

The competition was fun and it was a good experience for the girls, this was their first time for heck sakes... HOWEVER.....
It was the best people - I mean Mom - watching ever!!! I think the Toddlers and Tiara Moms are hilarious - SO ARE CHEER MOMS!!

They have "BeDazzled/BeJeweled" Cheer Mom shirts, they have sweat suits the same as their daughters, and they have hats with the cheer teams name on it!!
YES -They get into this - MORE THAN FOOTBALL MOMS!!! (there was even a Dad there today with a Cheer Dad t-shirt on - we just laughed... if you know Leo and Jay they would NEVER wear one!! EVER!!!)

SO.... Monica and I decided something today - While this is fun to do and go watch and support the girls. WE ARE NOT ONE OF THOSE MOMS!! However I did tell her - I was going to BeDazzle/BeJewel a shirt for her!! ROFL!!!

No resolutions here JUST GOALS

I don't believe in "resolutions". I believe in GOALS.
With the changes that we made last year with in our family I wanted to get goals and put it down in writing to make me do them! Basicly be held accountable for the goals I set!!

I am going to do it this year - I HAVE TO - it is in INK!! 

Notice I don't say - LOSE 50 lbs... I believe that if I just get fit and toned - the weight loss will come!
