What do you want to be when you grow up??

Everyone has had the question asked... What do you want to be when you grow up?

A long long long time ago, in High School I wanted to be an Emergency Room Nurse...well we all know how that one turned out!! It didn't!!!
I completely ended up on the other end of the spectrum... transportation, trucking of all things!! LOL :)

When you ask Ryan he tells you that he wants to work for the DWR. He loves to be out in the wild. He loves to fish and hunt. I think that he will perfect at it!

Now Aynsley, she is all girl! For a while when you asked her, what do you want to be when you grow up? She would tell you she wanted to be a cheerleader! OK - that is fine.... I could support that, as long as it wasn't a skimpy uniform!

Now when you ask Aynsley what she wants to be when she grows up - She tells you that she wants to be a "dress designer", she is constantly drawing this girl and different variations of "the dress".
Today she comes down from her room and she shows me her "newest" design - it is called "messy". You can't really tell but there are messy squiggles all over the dress! And LARGE!! She drew it on her easel she tells me!

Kids - there are so innocent! I love it!! I wonder what the next couple of years will bring - it what they want to be when they grow up!!

Mentally and Physically!!

Today at work, I found out one of my new co-workers age.
I honestly thought that she was around my age. I seriously fell off my chair when she told me that she was 51! There is no way that she is 51 trust me!! She looks good! Seriously - no way!!

So I say to her, "did you just say your 51!" She tells me - "Yea why??"
I just told her, There is no way!!

She then asks me, well how old are you?? I tell her 38 - I will be 39 in June. She then tells me the same thing I said to her - NO WAY!!
Now I didn't know if I should take that as a compliment or not!

She then tells me, "I thought that you were in your early 30's!!" I laughed - she laughed - we both laughed!! HARD!!

We then decided that physically we are our respective ages - But mentally we are in our early 30's!!
We had a great time reminiscing about our youth, and hoping that we stay mentally young!!

Where Have I Been????

Where have I been - well I can tell you - for the last month I have been knee deep into BASEBALL!!! Every Saturday for the last 3 weeks I have been down at the High School signing the awesome boys of Grantsville!!
We have new board this year - and so we have had to build the league from scratch and its been busy but FUN!!
One more day of sign ups - and then it is try-out and draft time!

OH yea - and I have been at Grantsville Sociable meetings - my BFF Monica and I are on the decorating committee. Well the Sociable is March 20th - so we have been busy getting ready for the decorating on March 19th.
AND guess what - thats the same week as Baseball try-outs - can you say "thats gonna be a busy week!!"

Oh yea and last weekend - Leo and I went to NASCAR weekend in LAS VEGAS!! This is the first trip we have taken together since getting married 14 years ago! It was fun!! Nice and relaxing.... oh yea and my driver that I like won...Yea Jimmie Johnson!!

So thats were I have been - BASEBALL, SOCIABLE, LAS VEGAS, and dont forget work and playing Mom!! Hopefully I wont be as busy in March but I am afraid I am... I promise I will blog more! I want to... I always think of things to post, but never post them!!

Some of my Favorite Things

I have been thinking that I need to blog more but I never know what to write about. I am sure that everyone gets sick and tired of hearing - "we did this and we did that". So today I am going to try to do what a lot of the good bloggers do - and just write! As I was thinking about what to write about - the thought came to me to write about my favorite things -
I have a lot of favorite things - One of my new favorite things is my Pandora Bracelet!
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!I bought one for my Mom and Nan for Christmas and then Monica wanted one so it has been fun getting everyone involved and seeing what charms they have on their bracelet.
So far I have 7 on mine - with more to come, I am sure!! 3 of the charms are my favorite things - and 4 of them represent the kids - Aynsley is represented by a purse (she never leaves the house with out one) and by a Cheer Megaphone (since she is my little dancer/cheerleader). Ryan is represented by the 2 sports that he LOVES - Football and Baseball!

I have 3 charms now, that represent things I love - as for #1 charm most you know that I am in flip flops year round - but constantly from March 1 to Nov 1. I have more flip flops than regular shoes!! And BTW my favorite all time flip flops are a brand called Toe Goz... LOVE THEM!! Toe Goz does have some COOL College flip flops - When Ryan gets into High School I am going to order the Georgia "G" - So I can be cool at the football games (till it turns cold)....not for Georgia - but Grantsville!!

My #2 charm - DISNEY - Ahhh everyone loves Disney - Mikey, Buzz, Woody...what more can you ask for!! My charm is a cool Mickey silhouette.. LOVE IT!!

My #3 charm - Palm Trees/Beach - Once again anyone that know me, know that I LOVE WARM!! I have always said when I retire - I WILL be a SNOW BIRD!!! (notice I didn't say I am going to be.... it is a - I will thing) I LOVE the beach - love the warm!!

So those are my charms - I want more for sure!!!! I just have to be more patient and wait for more of my favorite things to come out in a charms!! Do you think they might come out with a Diet Dr. Pepper Charm???Or maybe a What-Cha-Ma-Call-It charm????Hey they just might!!
